Just thought I'd pop in and say something..
Just lit Armins Sydney show, at We Love Sounds.
Was a pretty solid 4.5 hours.
His first hour didn't really do much for me personally, seemed like go no where ploddy to me :/
However, from what felt like minute 61, it felt like it all kicked up a notch. Lots of new stuff, a bit of older stuff.. Lots of pretty big vocals, thinking back. I remember looking around a few times, and everyone was singing along. It was pretty cool.
The encore was 20 minutes, which was pretty sweet.
Dont want to give too much away, but it did feel somewhat like a suburban train, if you know what I mean.
I recognised a fair bit of it from his recent EM, and also ASOT 406.
Have a good party!

armin = ing shoddy!!!
you talk about pricks who have sold out... well everyone gives to Tijs, however i think we now have a new king of sellout..
Dekay warmed up magnificently, then armin came on, then every track for the first hour sounded EXACTLY the same.. 100% formulay-ic trance... the run of the mill punters obviously liked it, however that is because the clubber of the new era is severely uneducated in forms of quality music..
have a dig at me if you wish, however this is just my observation..
16 Bit Lolita's on the other hand - amazing build, amazing set progression, amazing tunes.... had the prog-heads eating out of his hand |
