How many of you actually BUY CDs? (pg. 2)

I don't buy cd's because the only place I ever listen to music is at my comp or on my MD player (at home listen through my comp). Why would I go out and buy a cd ? I don't even have a decent CD player (well apart from CDrom Drive) I know, it's a lame excuse. I'm also a cheap bastard :p ( ... so sue me :) ) I also listen to livesets most of the time, can't even buy those on CD :)
note: if you're a law enforcer /RIAA/BREIN/BUMA/STEMRA employee, just pretend you didn't read that ;) |

| I only buy very good CD's that I have listened to on mp3's. Trance CD's (especially new stuff) aren't exactly available on every corner in my town so I have to order it online which generally takes 4 weeks!! |

Same Here, i just Buy the Albums that I really Want, By example i have all the 7 Magiks of tiesto, Tranceport 1(By Oakey), Out There and Back of Paul Van Dyk... those are the only Trance Cds That i have bought, Now i want to buy the 2 ISOS... UPS... I mean... the
3 ISOS :) .... but I also support artists buying Vinyls. |

I collect both - audio cds and mp3s. I don't know exactly why I buy so many CDs but I simply want to hold the original in my hands. I also have a MP3-CD Discman and I actually hear only MP3s CDs...the audio cds are more or less decoration
...but if my hardsiks should crash - I have got a backup - my 1500 audio cds ;-) |

DJ Tiesto - In My Memory
I'm going to buy these as soon as theyre out for sure:
Ferry Corsten - (Artist album)
Armin Van Buuren - (Artist album)
And maybe this one, I might have to listen to it first:
Solar Stone - (Artist album)
Basically I just get the artist albums of my top favorite artists :p |

hell i buy cds all the time
think about it
i have all of tiesto cds
there are quite a lot like over 20
its an impressive collection now how would it look if it was just a bunch of cdrs
plus i like to have the original with all the artwork
true collectors buy cds mp3s the real cd sounds twice as good |

| I went on a big CD bender end of last year but I realized that pretty much all commercial mix CDs (every CD I was buying) had large amounts of track overlap. That along with the fact that, just about everything I bought was imported which was getting quite pricey, made me stop buying CDs. Right now my thing is vinyl. As for actual artist albums, it's been a LONG time since I ever bought any of those and I don't think I'll ever buy any of those again. |
