It all started when the rave protocal got revised in 2001, forcing the promoters to use smaller venues, such as clubs to avoid the high cost of ODPs (1 to every 25 ppl) and using the clubs which most had to be 19+ (due to the restriction of the club owners). Wow was Toronto really like that back in the day? I only wished I was old enough at the time to experience this. I hear a lot of random stories about Dr. Trance, Mark Oliver, etc. How you had to go through certain procedures to get to a rave... |

It was true. I got to the tail end of that myself JUST when the 'club scene' was getting huge with big names. Never been to a 'massive' in TO except Daft Punk a few years ago at Arrow Hall. |
