yeah i don't know what the hell the deal is.. fffuuuccckkk

i just hate having to eat my words, when i was all about torq BEFORE i actually used it. i've never had it crash, but it's literally unuseable for me. i'd record a sample if i wasn't so lazy :p

it wouldn't be so big of a deal if m-audio actually answered their tech support inquiries- i sent one yesterday and i've read about a ton of people who get no answers to their problems.

Audio4's got the same performance/quality as audio8, its just lacking the inputs/outputs.

Audio 4 DJ

Headphone jack with gain on front end.

Basically one has 4 in 4 out the other has 8 in 8 out..
There might be a few other things but i haven't read both pages. As i don't intend on buying the Audio 4 DJ.

ok so i would love to be able to be in the middle of a transition and loop one of the tunes im mixing, which of these softwares would allow me to perfectly loop a tune without ing up the beatmatching? tried it on my cdj 200's and its definitely not possible, it can be done but the beats arent gonna remain perfectly matched.

Totally doable with DVS's. Most of the time it'll just "work", though sometimes you do have to give it tiny nudges here and there every few loop iterations.

If you really want it perfect (in Traktor), beatgrid your tracks, switch the looping deck to internal mode, and hit sync. It'll never ever drift. You can even move the loop around, extend it, shrink it, etc.
