After last night I think I made up my mind... AVALON > VANGUARD!!

I never thought I say this but I am starting to like Avalon more and more. I realized that Vanguard gets a lot of the "I just wanna go out" crowd where as Avalon gets the people that are mostly there for the music. Other than the washing machines which Vanguard has also Avalon is real good place for EDM. Last but not least the staff at Avalon is 100000000 times better at Avalon.
What do you guys think????? |

bout time you figured that out. Avalon bookings have been focusing more on musical side of things not the top 10 DJ. you might come across a DJ you never heard of and they blow your mind.
true, there are a TON of washers at avalon. but when it gets busy like last night, you can't really tell. |

I agree Avalon is mostly about the music too bad they closed the upstairs :confused: bring roger to avalon :happy2: |

If you happen to be in Vegas catch Roger at TABU lounge last time I saw him there is was soo dam good. Its a lounge and the crowd is real good!! |

Last I recall, avalon was still nazi as and didnt let anyone with any kinds of lights or glowsticks.
I've seen vids of gloveshows from inside vanguard. Is security just as lax at vanguard or did they somehow ninja them in well?

Hmmm...last time I was at Avalon was the time Ferry was doing his 6 month residency. All I remember is being frustrated with line cutters, and once inside being paranoid to go in my pockets for gum.
That fact being that the security usually rush your ass like a swat team and ask you to empty your pockets when you are just getting a stick of gum. In addition, I really feel unconfortable using the men room with the enthusiastic attendant that regulates the tissue dispenser.
So I guess I would have to choose Vangaurd over Avalon.
And of course Circus over them both...lol! |

ahaha that attendant does a good job tho of managing the hectic line. But hes handshake after you wash had is a lil to much |

| the last time i went to vanguard, i bought a drink at the bar, sipped it, sipped it, sipped it, chugged it and walked out. i ended up at avalon until sander k finished up on the terrace. |
