For tonight's games

Bulls pull one off in Chicago
Mavs do the same and win in Dallas.
Lakers go up 3-0 on the Jazz.

Got my tix for tomorrows game. Really expecting a great performance by the Rockets.

damnit. i was expecting to make the drive to Houston to make it to tomorrow night's rockets-blazers game, but some things came up. :( hopefully Houston makes it to the 2nd round, and I can make it out to the Toyota Center. :happy2:

Rox will take the next 2 vs the Blazers. I'm guessing the Rockets will win in 6 games.

this is what i think....

if Rox win next 2 @ home, they win in 5 games.
if Rox split next 2, they win in 7 games.
if Rox lose next 2(which most likely not), Blazers win in 5.

I think the Rox will win games 3 and 4, using Mutumbo's injury as some encouragement to kick some ass.

Btw. damn spurzzzzzzzzz (Spurz fan here). It's the end of a dynasty right here folks. Time to start cleaning house, and think about the future.

Rockets are going to win regardless. Your spurs couldn't come back from a close game today. Has been a good series nonetheless

These are the playoff brackets for round 1

---Western Conference---
Houston vs Portland (Houston in 6)

Called this game. (only series I called right unless Hawks win game 7)

Rockets finally played awesome like they did in game 1. Hopefully this will transition against LA.

Portland was good practice for LA at the PF and SG spots. Our bench is going to have to contribute heavily every game and Yao is going to have to go off for us to win.

The Lakers will have a much harder time containing Yao then the Blazers. Gasol cant front Yao as well as Oden, Pryzbilla, or Aldridge. And Bynum certainly can't play behind him as well as Vanilla Godzilla. Of course, Kobe will be more difficult then even Roy and the Lakers role players will be the key.

I expect Lamar Odom to have a massive series against us. Probably averaging something like 18/11

I like that Artest told the Toyota Center "this ain't over" b/c we finally got past 1st round. Out of all teams in West, Rockets will be the Laker's thoughest series.

Both Texas teams left are the underdogs, hopefully we make it interesting.

Bulls-Celtics series is ridiculous! Last night was one of the best games I've seen, if the Celtics could just get their toes off the 3-point line :whip:

I'm glad they were playing Yao one on one in beginning. he got off to a good start. Everyone played great last night. The Great Wall coming back into the game after that hard knee foul...was memorable to say the least.
