Its amazing to see that the nanny state thrives even while i am gone.
So apparently they want to:
Ban smoking near playgrounds
Ban smoking near bus stops even open air ones (good luck with that one)
Ban most pesticides that are deemed legal to use by health canada (Ontario)
Ban under 21 from having any alcohol in their blood while driving (last i checked the drinking age was 19..but im sure this is the first step to a 21 drinking age)
What the hell is wrong with this picture?
Last i checked Toronto was crumbling, falling apart and broke. Ontario was losing massive amounts of jobs and poverty was rising. And this is what these jokesters are concerning themselves with?
Honest to god...
And dont even get me started on the ski helmet BS. Of course mcguinty has said hes not interested in that one which is code for him flip flopping 6 months from now and enacting another law.
What happened to freedom? |

You'll always find a law that you consider dumb.
I do agree though more freedom is not really a bad thing. |

Obviously your a smoker.
I don't see anything wrong with these laws, other than, as you already said, good luck trying to stop the 2nd one. But other than that, I don't see how these laws really harm anyone???? |

Actually, he isn't a smoker.
The governments will pass as many laws as they can to make it look like they are trying to get people to stop smoking or prevent them from smoking....when we all know the last thing they want is for people to stop smoking. |
