Well, don't forget, even though it can spread fast, the real figures are 80 or so dead out of 300 million.
Also, the USA and the rest of the world are better prepared than ever because of the measures taken after SARS.

Same with other companies making hot/hyped up products. Don't bother with hand sanitizers (though these companies are selling them so fast now). They are NOT effective against viruses and promote other potential health problems. Soap and hot water remains the best hand cleaning methods.
I did buy some N95 masks, but fortunately for a cheap price ($1-2 each). But do realize that these masks are better for preventing water particles from hitting key areas of your face. The flu particles themselves are often too small for N95 to stop, but again, the flu often attaches itself to larger particles (water, etc). Also, these masks promote its wearers from touching their face, which certainly helps. I needed some masks anyway for my disaster kits, so hopefully I won't be needing to use these for El Niño Swine Flu. :) |

but he cancel his flight . |

2 Calif. deaths investigated for swine flu links

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County coroner's office is investigating the recent deaths of two men for links to swine flu.
Los Angeles Coroner's spokesman Craig Harvey told the Los Angeles Times that a hospital in Bellflower reported the death of a 33-year-old Long Beach man who was brought in Saturday with symptoms resembling Swine flu.
The other death was a 45-year-old La Mirada man who died April 22 at a Norwalk hospital.
Coroner's Capt. John Kades (KAY-dis) says the bodies are being tested but that there has been no confirmation the disease killed them. He offered no other details about the men.
The Los Angeles Times reports on its Web site that both men's deaths were reported to the coroner's office on Monday.
