that's the same for me. If someone does ask me if i post on TA, i wouldn't deny it. You wouldn't catch me talking about TA in the outside world, because imo TA is just like Digg/reddit/etc .... a pot full of random from funnies to facepalms to common interests. If something does interest me, then I might mention it in the outside world, but not likely. I do link links to threads to TAs i chat online and few people, but that's if I would think it would interest them. If not, I don't really bring it up.
As far as friends goes, there's a reason why I am going to DEMF, and it's not just because of the music. :D Yeah the TAs I usually talk with have a lot of the common interests I do, and we love to bash each other with slander and nonsense. It's lovely poetry.

because there's lots of funny posted on here and links to stories and plus i've dated TAs so naturally, my mom knows about TA. i saw denis leary live last night and he talked about that fat german chick who jumped in the polar bear cave at the zoo and my mom was like, "where did i hear about that?" and i reminded her that it was from me and that i saw it on TA. just little references like that come up in convo, it's not like every minute i'm saying, "OMG on TA, etc..." and my bf knows u guys make fun of him and give me a hard time. he laughs when i tell him about some of the insults like the monkey pubes on his face. :stongue: |

| deffinately alot of funny posted on here...i dunno maybe im just a different type of person then you, but when im out I am making funny happen in that moment and not referencing funny from other places that people have no idea are. Ill reference movies and what not if the other person has seen the movie. but most of my friends dont read ta so i dont see the reason to reference it. |

well meeting people on the internet is a lot more socially accepted these days so i have no problem telling people i met some friends from a music forum that i've been a member of for 8 years. i have never gotten made fun of or anything, they just look at me like, "oh ok, cool".
back in 2002 when i was temporarily living with my dad, arturo and faye (old school florida TAs) drove up to see oakenfold in orlando with me and they crashed at my dad's house and everything and my dad knew where i knew them from. he didn't care, he liked them. |

| i share a lot of stuff that i find on TA with my friends/coworkers (naked wizard tasing, unicorn images, McCain photoshops, etc) but i don't tell them "check out what i found on TA!" |

yesterday some chick posted on my bf's facebook wall and said "you're dating Myra Romano?!?! wtf!"
then a few minutes later she messaged him and said "i thought she was married to RJT on TA?! she's the best kept secret in EDM - i love all her mixes."
i have no idea who she is.
