Do you discuss this forum (and any other forums you may be on) with people outside of it/who don't read it? Do your friends/family "know" certain users because you mention them so often? :wtf:
I have to admit that during the general work day, this site provides me with a lot of cheap entertainment and that I can't help but pass on funny stuff after spending so much time here. To my friends who aren't "on" the internet I usually tell them about something I found particularly amusing, while for friends who spend time online I'll sometimes email them a link to a good thread. Can't say I ever mention specific usernames though; I think that would be going a bit far. |

| my brother has met pretty much the same number of ta's as I have & my mum met a couple of them when they called round at mine. That's about it really. |

My posting here is just disposable entertainment/sadistic puppetry from a safe distance. 90% of the time I spend here is at work.
I have never met a TA in real-life, and I don't plan on doing so. It's not that I don't talk about this forum to people I know... it's that I doubt they would give a seeing as how I barely do, myself.
Plus, I think Krypton, who shall henceforth be dubbed "The Constant Example", has shown us quite adequately just what happens when you let a close acquaintance in on this whole forum business... |

Nope, that's different. If your brother or mum have met people off this forum then they'd be able to say "how is Tom going these days? Is he still posting on that forum with you?"
I'm talking about people who are completely isolated from this place.
