When I lived at home permanently and I was going to a TOTA meetup or something like that, I would tell my mom I was going to meet up with friends from Quebec (from this program I did in north quebec for a few months)
I just never felt like explaining it to her and she's so ing old school that she doesn't "get" the internet.
My bf is a part-time TA lurk (username: MarcMitchell) although he rarely posts.
He absolutely hates one guy from TOTA who always insists on speaking french to me at events and my bf is left out of the conversation
