A few weeks ago after the Liverpool - Chelsea match you asked me why I referred to Chelsea as "scum". Drogba and Co. gave a demonstration of why today :stongue:

LOL, just read these comments by Guus Hiddink...
quote:
“Conspiracy is a very tough word and you have to prove it,” Hiddink said. “I don’t want to go with that tough word. It was said in the build-up that it would be nice to have a repetition of last year’s final, but I can only say what I see.
“I cannot say if Uefa would not like another all-English final. What I’m sure about that, in big games like this, you need top-notch referees. Players make many mistakes, coaches makes mistakes and referees can make mistakes. But if you have seen three or four situations waved away, then it’s the worst I have seen. At this moment I’d have to think a lot if I have seen worse.”
He must have a short memory span if he already forgot the South Korea games against Italy and Spain in the 2002 World Cup, when he coached the South Koreans.

Zidane's goal is a classic, but I think the fact Zidane scored it counts a lot when people call it the "best goal ever". Essien was 10 yards further out, he was being challenged as he hit it and it went in off the crossbar. Perfect goal.
John Terry's a bit of a prick, but I don't have as much against him as the players I mentioned. Frank "Humourless" Lampard doesn't seem too popular either.
I agree with you apart from Anelka. When we signed him I thought 'oh , moody french ****' but he worked his ass off, really bought into the ethic of the team and we saw him do things he never had before like track back for the team. Got a lot of respect for him for that.

can be seen pretty much every game that he goes down looking for a penalty

He acted as a spokesperson here, because those insinuations were done by players and other people of the staff (I think), I don't believe he came up with those comments all by himself.
Big Worm
slow claps for all you chelsea haters. i love it.
i don't know who said it, maybe 'stren', but you're right, money can't buy you the actual championship. but what money can do is buy the personnel to put your club in the position to compete for the championship.
my comment about ronaldo running roughshod over barca was not one to be interpreted as me switching to being a man u supporter, rather i was trying to highlight the fact that man u's payroll is almost as high as chelsea's, and so when may 27th rolls around, we will indeed see if money does influence who will win the champions league.
the sad irony is, as poorly as chelsea took their defeat yesterday, y'all have managed to display even worse behaviour celebrating their defeat.
congratulations.
try to act like you've been there before.

what the are you talking about?
My club has been on the end of bad decisions, one even more ridiculous against manchester united this season where they got a penalty when it clearly wasn't. We were once relegated after a really bad call that cost us tv money that nearly sent us bankrupt. Never ever did our players behave like that. Players like Drogba & Ronaldo make it so hard to even tell when there has been contact with their cheating and blatant disregard for the spirit of the game, so why shouldn't we laugh when they're on the receiving end of things like this, and they embarass themselves in such ways? Perhaps if they had more dignity then we as fans would show the same, but why should we when they cheat, lie and are solely in it for their personal gain?
Either this season or last, Chelsea beat Newcastle solely on a ridiculously bad call too. Referees are put under so much more pressure by these players because they have to guess sometimes if something happened, because half of the time it didn't and they roll around as if they've just seen Yukii's catflap.
