Yeah, that doesn't sound appealing in the least bit. Shin Ramnyun + an egg sounds infinitely better than that.

"extravagant" is never out of a can served with that comes out of a bag and bottle and nothing else. That is called a food stamp lunch.
Government cheese sammiches imo.

Ramen is cheap but so is .79 cent pasta boxes from a typ. supermarket which you see on your plates at a restaurant for $15!

Are you ing kidding? If a restaurant is charging me $15 bucks for a plate of pasta, I would brutally murder them if it wasn't made from scratch.

If a restaurant is charging you $15 for a plate of pasta, you are eating at the Olive Garden and have no business complaining about their food.

I agree this is fair as places pay rent, taxes, overhead, etc. but when I make a cheap home made version I don't expect it to be extravagant unless I was a professional chef. They know the business when they are working for a living they can charge 10,20,30 or more for their dishes but when at home they can go to the grocery and make the same thing for 1/10 the price so would you call that cheap and crap?

My point is my ramen recipe was just a base and still taste pretty good.
