oh yea u can only get those deals if you sign up for the "$9 fare club" on spirit airlines. it's not much money to join and totally worth it. we're getting the same deal for our DR tickets only the taxes are over 100 bucks, but still...gonna be $200 roundtrip for BOTH of us to DR...nonstop. that's amazing. |
What's the catch with those 9.00 fares anyway? How much and how often do you have to pay, and how long do the special fares last?
Spirit is such crap and I'd only fly on it again if those deals were actually what they sound like. |

| I'd love to fly Spirit, but in NYC I'd have to fly out of Laguardia (ew) and it doesn't really go to any places I like from LGA direct (Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, Myrtle Beach) |

Yeah, I've done it a few times from FLL to LGA but man, what a POS airline. Not even a complementary beverage. |

A work colleague booked tickets from Washington DC to Munich for Oktoberfest this year for $403 per person return. I didn't believe him until he showed me the itinerary. |

lol I flew return to edinburgh for £98 but was happy cos i booked premium seats, my bag into the hold each way which cost me £20 odd etc
Funny thing here, i wanted to book my fave apartments for a holiday, the flights with first choice/thomson etc are in the mid-late 300s when they were 160 12 months ago. No budget flights to those places either. damn :p |

I went from LA to New York for $239 round trip. And this was paying for the ticket just two weeks in advance!
