So is this a new bylaw or legislation? The link in the OP doesn't work.
In the absence of a bylaw or legislation, I fail to see how this is enforceable and would stand up in court.
How can you be fined and/or suspended if you don't break a law?
seems unconstitutional to me, but I don't know all the details. |

i disagree with this one.
Next will be a warning to a warning, so at .03, u get ding'd
leave the .08 alone, is low enough already. Like 1 beer/hr alters someone's judgement |

0.05 is one drink for lots of people (depending on their genetics/weight/etc).

It's not a law, that's the point. The police have been given discretionary powers over and above the law.

Fine, so if you don't like the law, change the law. The government has the power to do that - assuming it gets approved. Don't send the police in to enforce a law that doesn't exist.
Imagine if you or someone you knew got thrown in the cell for a week for banging an 18-year-old - because, you know, it's technically above the age of consent, but it's almost too young. This is practically the same thing. |

the law was never changed.
I say we all drive at .06 until one of us gets pulled over, then we all pull over and beat up the cop. and we keep doing this until they get a little scared to pull ppl over at .06. Beat the fear of god into them.
