It's crazy, I feel like getting this one analog synth and playing with it these past five days has moved me closer to the sounds I always wanted than years of working with software.

Now I just need a nice analog polysynth for pads and strings.

Thats awesome, how did you wind up picking that synth?

Or how long did it take you to make up your mind? I've been researching for like 10months now and still can't make up my mind. I only have the money for one decent synth (like $1500) so its gotta be one I'll use for years.

They had one at Guitar Center and I went up there a bunch and played with it a lot. I figured for my first synth I wanted something pretty simple and relatively inexpensive, but also modern so that it wouldn't have any malfunction issues or be troublesome to set up. Of course I also wanted something that sounded really good.

The Little Phatty fit all of those qualifications for me. But I tested it out and thought about it for months before deciding I wanted it. I'm certainly not disappointed with the result of my decision.

:D

Awesome grain in there. There must be at least 3 well known effects in that clip.

How do you do that effect from 30 to 38 seconds?

:30 - :38 is a filter sweep from the highest cutoff to the lowest, with the LFO routed to the filter and set to the fastest possible rate, which I think the manual said is 500 Hz.

Since we sort of live in the same city and everything how about this.

Let's have my analog join forces with your analog to create the voltron of analog?

Sounds good.

You got any samples of that thing playing? ;)

You have very clean carpet.

Also, your Moog gave me a boner.

I want a drum machine eventually, but right now I think I'll go for a couple more synths before I do that. That sucks that you lost all your work.

Yeah, now that I got the Moog I find myself a lot more motivated to keep this room clean and not take food in here. I vacuumed up shortly after I got the synth.

ehh if i can do it once i can do it again i just had a few loops and anyway since it is a synth i don't always record it so save disk space most of the time i'm just playing around with it
