Patterson and Marcel Woods both sounded great but I think the temperature on the main floor ruined the experience for almost everyone. I really wanted to hear more of both their sets, but being on the floor any longer than 10 min became unbearable. I liked that they amped the sound up to the max volume. Near the end of the night the back speaker kept blowing out, but when it came back the whole club rocked like something exploded, lol.
Some other tracks that weren't mentioned
Marcel Woods:
Marco V - Unprepared (Vocal Mix)
Marcel Woods - Inside Me
Gareth Emery - Exposure
4 Strings - Take Me Away (Dennis de Laat Remix)
Simon Patterson:
Simon Patterson - We'll See
Cosmic Gate - F.A.V.
Greg Nash - Summer Overture (Fred Baker Edit)

What an epic night, Simon throwing bomb after bomb after bomb. Nothing but positive feedback for Eco's set. Did anyone else notice the DJ Equipment fall near the bar?..ooo and you guys werent kidding about the temperature in the main room. It really does get unbearably hot in there.
Ill be uploading videos soon.

Marcel woods was everything I expected, I had to leave after his set, so I didn't see Simon, but I heard him so many times, so I am sure he rocked it out as usual.
I heard the speakers starting to pop during marcels set. He really was just dropping killer tracks after another.
I really want to know the remix he played of Everything but the Girl - Missing, that was an amazing remix.
I am not sure what remix he also played of 4 strings - take me away.
Good night overall, but the heat was unbearable. I am going to have to see what is up with there AC, and see if they can resolve the issue.

Can someone please ID the track in the next video?

Good lord, where can I start?... Awesome times, it was two of my friends' birthdays, so we all had a good time... A little hot, but overpacking the DJ booth doesn't help either, so move it along guys! We want these DJs to come back. Around 3:30, there was like 20 people in the booth, Simon couldn't move...
Besides that tiny gripe, everything else was a lot of fun, can't wait to do it again soon :) Hope you enjoyed the set.
That's all I got, sorry!

So I get there @ 12 sharp. I actually hook some guy with an entrance I had. I got a "I love you" instead of "thank you". haha
I think I was 1 of the few ones that actually lasted all 4 hours (expect for 2 bathroom breaks).
Marcel Woods & Simon Patterson put on 1 hell of a show. And I gotta give them props for spinning in that sauna that it was the main floor.
I can't believe Marcel Woods played "Zombie Nation". That was NYC & NJ's anthem 10 years ago. Every1 went nuts! Reminded me of when I started doing EDM in '99 & that was 1 of the first tracks.
Simon was impressive as well, the last hour he totally kill it. Especially when he played his tracks.
Last night, my first time @ Love NYC was great. As as much as I would like to complain about the heat inside, I lost 3 lbs overnight (I $h!t u not!).
I wouldn't go there in the middle of the summer tho.
I have some vids but I wonder how clear they came out, I gotta go over them. They really should put a better light @ the DJ booth.
Awesome night!

Oh yeah, and before I forget, thanks to everyone who comes early party after party. It's amazing the support I get recently. Just a year ago, an "opening set" meant I had to play for 3 hours to maybe 10 people, but the past few parties, I can't believe the amount of people that go early, some are my friends but a lot are random supporters.
Before doors even opened, around 9:45, I round the corner of 8th and MacDougal with coffee and DJ bag in hand and there was a line of people who recognized me! That's love for the music, and if you were there early, then my deepest gratitude; you make opening fun again! :)

The past reviews I've got about u are all great (from party goers & other DJs) & I really wanted to check your set out but I was late getting there.
Next time I'll make sure to catch u in action.

First off i just want to say that last night was my second favorite event i've been to, first one being the tyas and patterson tag team last year at shelter.
Big up to the girl who was working the guest list and giving out the tickets, one of the nicest girls who ever handed me a ticket haha. Seriously though, after a rough series of events me and my friend (left early) of not being on the list and having to go to some remote citibank atm lol, the girl gave me one comp ticket and one reduced without me asking.
I came in about at the first quarter of marcel's set, and at first i was a little skeptical but then marcel really kicked it up and blew me away when zombienation was dropped. Brad and Wai were making fun of me for it being before my time but i loved it just the same haha. Like most people the highlight of marcel's set for me was advanced, i never got to hear that track live before and being in the booth while watching the crowd react to it really blew me away.
Moving on to simon's set....the only word that comes to mind is WOW, this is exactly why i came down last night and exactly the reason why i love trance so much, the two highlights of the set for me were us and always; both tracks were just exactly what i wanted to hear that night. the whole night simon just kept on bangin it out and there was nothing that i really disliked about set except for all the heat woahhhhhhhhhhh.
Feels like everytime i go meet more and more TAs, once again it was great meeting everyone and going with Wai mid set to grab a hot dog and discuss russian government policies towards the elderly :p, great to see gerard out again even though i live like 15 min from him >_< and euphoria i look forward to seeing my wasted looking pic with simon:D
oh and diana... i still have your glove, to those that know the full story, just LMFAO
