If anyone else in into soccer, there is a HUGE match tomorrow 5/27. Several sites are expecting Man U. to win but I think I could go either way. Its should be a GREAT game.
Any Barcelona or Man U. fans? |

Are you ing kidding me? This is going to be the game of the decade.
oh, and Man U are going to cane them.
Anyone know where it can be watched in LA, without it being a cluster?
P.S. It's called FOOTBALL, not "soccer" (we invented it first:p) |

Hi everyone,
well, at least I found a non-trance thread to post my first message over here. Longtime lurker, but first time poster. And as some here say this is THE GREATEST game of the year. Since I am from Barcelona (although living in SD right now) I will say that my heart is with Barca, although I must admit that ManU are the champions and it will be difficult, however I think that if ManU does not score in the first 10-20 minutes and Barca dominates, the game is ours. If ManU scores then it will be very difficult because ManU will put the "bus" on defense + CR on the counter and it will be very difficult.
A bunch of us will be at Rock Bottom in LJ to watch the game |

Its not "Man U" - Its Man United, Manchester United, or simply United. Take your pick. :)
Should be the match of the century.
A depleted Barca side without three key defenders Abidal, Alves, and Marquez suggests that Ronaldo should be able to create a lot of chances through width as well as in the centre of the pitch. Barca will have to limited their attacking style to prevent being exposed in the back by United's counters. |

Barca all the way!! Henry and Iniesta are likely to play tomorrow. It'll be a good game.
Barcelona 1-0 Manchester United |

I suppose it could well be in the land of Sawcurrr, but anyone who is either a fan or understands the club knows that its any of the three but not Man U, which is generally a term used by opposition fans to mock the club or by fair whether football fans who only tune in for big games.
If you say United, everyone will know what you mean, despite there being many clubs with the word in their name, "there is only one United". |

98% of their fans live outside the UK :p
Man U is a common term, used nearly everywhere south of manx, in fact you hear some of the more loose tongued commentators even use the term. Know what you mean though about true local fans - they don't really refer to MU as anything other than united. They don't even bother with the Man bit (as the other uniteds don't count ;) ) |
