australians only colonized in the 1700s before that they were simply europeans.. unless you mean aboriginese.

I guess sushi is refering to his more distant heritage.

not that i'm trying to imply i got ed by renzo but,

dad - italian /argentine (well, italians who lived in argentina for a couple generations).. but born in canada, 100% whitewashed

mom - 3/4 welsh, 1/4 barbadian (nigga what)... raised in UK, came over to canada in teens

i used to hate not having a nationality to relate to at all with no sense of ethnocentrism but i'm cool with it now. nationalism, it's a young concept initially pushed forward by two-faced leaders like napoleon and bismarck to gain support by the mass of idiots. it's almost up there with religion

And it bothers me when people say I'm 100% this because the probability is that you are not. And if you go back far enough you definatley arent.

Umm...pretty sure we all know that but there's no point in saying it. There's no chance in hell that anyone from Europe is 100% anything, especially the Croats :haha:

On my moms side I am third/fourth generation (depending on how you count) Scandinavian (Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish).

Dads side I am Scot/English (with some western european thrown in)... Not sure which generation, we were established here before the revolution and I guess fought in it. Dads family line is spread all over the globe, lots of us in Australia... :wtf:

Question: how long do your ancestors have to live in a country before they're considered "American" and not "Italian-American" or "Australian" and not "German-Australian"?

When they mate with a native american.

I dont think I ever really say I am American... I say I live in the US, I am from Washington (and if they arent a ing dunce I dont have to add state after that).
