15 Minutes of your life?
No wait... 15+15+9+9+change = Quite a bit of time?
The Panorama Garage mix is decent in the groove though. |

The one that Beatport labeled "original mix" isn't actually the original mix by Humate.
Why can't these jokers just leave the past alone? |

| That's basically what I was referring to. |

does the "leave the classics alone" issue is applied in this case?
i'd say yes
panorama's is quite okay, but the others add nothing groundbreaking to the original trance record, unless you count the seven more minutes added.
btw, where that original mix came from? i guessed i missed something too |

No idea, but it looks like Beatport has, with its typical disregard, somehow mistaken the original mix for some loopy "wooh look how nicely I can EQ my little perc samples!" masturbation session of a "tech" record. It sounds like an entirely different track to me, but who knows. It's as ready for the garbage bin as any of the other throwaway numbers created by the pinheads that make this sort of tech-dreck. |

...so much anger. why so mad...It's just music?
And how do we know, that this stuff wont be cherished in 10 years or 15 years? For example, I have a feeling Progressive House will be heavily cherished in a few years, maybe when enough time has passed. |

| I was irritated for all of a few minutes when I was listening to the samples, and that was my response. I feel fine now... |

I do adore a lot of music apart from prog house, you know. LOL. I don't reject this snore-worthy-tech simply because it's not prog. I reject it because it strikes me as boring, musicless, and totally unworthy of the extravagant praise often given to it. And no, I don't think it will be widely cherished in ten or fifteen years, or even five most likely. Certainly a few people will have pleasant memories connected with some of these tunes, but I don't think they will be flash points for any large number of electronic music listeners. They'll be long-deleted from hard drives by then. |

MrJive has no need for a delorean.
That little outburst is entirely reasonable imo
Producers who stick to a single formula are boring...lest I remind you the brilliant discussion we all had about Stimming... |
