:( :( I dont know whats going on with "trance" nowadays, but its just not the same.....not even close. I havent been to an "epic" party since 2006-7 MAYBE. maybe even before. fun, yes, epic, no.

hopefully someone will come along and sweep us off our feet like we used to :) Have faith!! <3 <3

one epic night this year and it was a house party. steve angello's set at pacha in april was by far the best set i've heard in 2009.

crossing my fingers for parties in the fall!

this deserves another thread, lol.
Excess
holy christ those videos make ME want to cry, and i wasnt even there.

the fact of the matter is the more experienced of the crowd are always going to compare and say "back then" was always better - but damn. those videos make me want to experience that night.

still, i bet if you dug up a review for that night there'd still be critics saying the same thing they do now... and i dont think it's the DJ's fault. i think it's just not as fresh to most of you guys as it was then. i know for me, mccarren park last year (my first trance event) was AMAZING. and im positive some of you will disagree

It was, i'm uploading my vids from that night on youtube now cuz i never got around to it back then. I was pissed when i ran out of memory during silence, but i got most of it, right up to when armin shed some tears:

And here's Shivers with the Yankee hat:

And finally Lift while playing with the lasers:

atb is a dickkkkkkk.... whats with him and hisnot letting anyone get 5 feet close to him? i requested "swept away" and he gave me that "meh" face

Im so happy someone else has said this. He knows that we follow him everywhere...post on his site- SHARE INFO of HIS sucess FOR HIM bc no one really updates his .,....help promo his and happen to KNOW his manager (the poor guy is constantly trying to make excuses for andre having ZERO care and love for his fans). ATB has made note that I go all over to see him yet consistantly doesnt have the time to take a simple pic with me...hell wave of course, as he is walking out of the building.

Andre is actually a jerk. I hate to say it- but I have said it before and Ill scream it from the roof tops- I see no reason to support someone like that. Not when there are ING FABULOUS DJs/producers like Markus Schulz, and the huge list of wonderful NYC people here who all go out of their way to not only adore us but be real and even be our friends.

its sad. he could be better, and do better. hes his own worst enemy, imo

I dont think thats funny at all. I understand that DJ's get hounded every night and it gets old, but at least show some respect and kindness to the people who are paying your bills.

Markus Schulz is all over the world all ing year long making records well beyond ATB.....and he goes OUT OF HIS WAY to FIND US IN THE CROWD and send US UP TO HIS VIP because weve been his fans and support him

'nough said!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:whip: atb needs to really sit back and ask himself what he loves most- MUSIC....or MONEY

bc he has a weird way of showing his fans any sort of gratitude

btw EDT: i have to add....although im kind of happy to hear my predictions were right...IM still sad I missed this- wouldve been cool to see everyone its been too long.

theres GOT to be a way to get MADE to understand ATB someplace else would be worth it!!

AND>...BTW....i heard he didnt even really play ATB tracks? True?

Stunade
Well, I heard 3 Tiesto tracks...

ATB cannot mix very well live. I heard lots of shoddy and abrupt transitions. The tracklisting was boring. Wasn't feeling him at all...

Victor, you were the complete opposite. Great mixing and bangin' songs.

Pacha security and lists SUCK BALLS! Good thing I was free. Thanks for all my birthday wishes. :tongue2
