I was talking to a guy at the LCBO today, and he said that he doesn't think it will happen, or even if it does, that it wouldn't last that long. He said that the LCBO will lose $5,000,000 per day in lost sales. They're not going to allow themselves to lose that much money.

He did say that 4 of the large locations (Summerhill, Queens Quay, and 2 others) will be open during the strike, if it does indeed happen.

A friend of mine works at the location 2km from my house, it'll stay open if they go on strike, thus I don't care.

The beer store is owned jointly by Molson-Coors & Labbat-Interbrew, and is run with oversight from the provincial government.

At least it was when I worked there 10 years ago.
