Well, here are a couple of facts, not rumors:

Applications for parade floats were due July 10th. The floats will be announced August 1st.
So, I predict that we'll know more on August 1st, at least about the float lineup... :clown:
p.s.: I like the way the website plays different songs each time you open it. So if you don't like the song playing, just reload the home page! :) |

Yes and no...
I started this thread thinking one person would read it. But somehow its more popular than the thread Skills posted....
I wanna bs and say what i wish and hope and heard from some random dumb ass on the street.
So ya, why tease, but like other people said i would rather hear anything than nothing. It just keeps me excited. |

This is also a great forum to express dreams and wishes. Imagine typing in this little white box that you would really like to see {your favorite DJ} at SF LovEvolution this year, and then they show up! Was it just a coincidence, or maybe the lineup wasn't finalized yet and some promoter read your message and made a phone call...
For me, it would be Super8 & Tab. I have seen them spin before in LA, and I think they would blow the roof off of LovEvolution (unless there isn't a roof, in which case they would knock a few planets out of orbit)! I know there's probably about a 3% chance of this actually happening, but many people buy lottery tickets with much lower odds...
A rumors thread is one of the best places to do this, since it's usually way ahead of the event when most DJ's don't have their calendars booked up yet. I suppose a "which DJ's would you like to see at LovEvolution" thread would also work, but wouldn't nearly as much buzz as one about rumors...there's just something about a rumor that sets me off in a quest for the truth, so I will check a DJ's calendar to confirm that they are booked (or not) that weekend, etc. It's kind of like a puzzle, if you have all the pieces in place already, then why bother? At that point, your only decision is to buy tickets or not... |

Armin was there last year, so thought he might skip 2009? They usually don't repeat headlining DJ's year to year, but maybe being #1 calls for an exception. :) |
