Wierdest feeling I've probably experienced is feeling myself enter sleep. What's so bizarre is i felt conscious the whole time. I felt paralysis quickly spread throughout my whole body, it was kind of creepy.

Another bizarre feeling is somehow being in a lucid dream while still under sleep paralysis. I'm trying to so hard to run but I can hardly ing move at all. Flying while dreaming, on the other hand, is ing awesome. Except when I fly into something, which causes my whole body to involuntarily jolt as I wake up :whip:

Waking to numb limbs can be annoying, and the prickly sensations can also drive me crazy, but the weirdest feeling is when my arm is starting to restore blood back to it, and i get this bizarre as painful/sore feeling as I try to lift my arm up. Also, if my feet ever become completely numb, walking on them is torturous, because it feels like there is a huge pressure buildup in my feet and they're going to explode if I walk on them.

The feeling of suffocating is also bizarre. That butterfly-like feeling in the pit of your stomach is nasty feeling, yet kind of interesting.

One of the worst weird feelings that I haven't felt in a long time is when my feet were really dry and I slid across the carper on my feet. This nasty sensation in my feet also shot up to my hands. I can't really explain how it felt, maybe similar to electricity flowing through your body. I'm cringing just thinking about it.

I probably wouldn't consider this a "weird" feeling, but a full blown anxiety attack is ing terrible. I get similar symptoms as someone would have before having a heart attack, minus the chest pain (none whatsoever).

Lightheadedness can be a weird but sometimes pleasant feeling. It usually happens when I'm at work crouching down for a while switching cables in the lab, and then I stand up really quickly and almost pass out.

I cannot remember a single dream where I was walking. I am always either flying or swimming in my dreams. It's fantastic.

I don't know why that is. My grandmother says it's because I crave freedom..

Another interesting thing about my dreams is I dream in 4 different languages, depending who I'm interacting with in the dream. It's pretty neat. =)

Sometimes while just sitting, I feel like my heart beat goes off chart or does a skip, very weird.

My leg falls asleep often, to the extent it feels like I'm walking on a prosthetic leg when I stand up.

And does anyone else find the blood-rushing-back sensation absolutely agonising?

I actually love when my leg falls asleep. Once in college, I had my left ankle resting on my right knee while sitting down, and my left leg started to fall asleep so I decided I'd let it be like that until the end of class.. 75 minutes later, my leg was asleep all the way up to my knee. I was punching my calf and felt just a tiny tingling sensation.. when I stood up, it felt like a prosthetic leg too, and I fell over hahaha..

Anyone ever go swimming with their socks on? It's a very weird, but great feeling to feeling.

Once, I sneezed and farted at the same time.. really awesome feeling.

I sometimes get what I *think* are migraine headaches brought on by certain terrains of light. That is to say, I have never experienced anything like it while in a dark room, so I believe there to be some correlation there. I could have some sort of epilepsy, even though I've done numerous EEGs, CAT-scans, and MRIs, and they've detected no noticeable irregularities, much less repeatable symptoms of my episodes.

In any case, I begin to see a slowly flickering light above my left eye that becomes larger and larger until I can't see anything else in that eye - the frequency of the light increases and I almost collapse, I can't focus on anything else, and I usually clutch my head and crouch down to avoid fainting. As the light becomes larger and basically takes over everything, it becomes grey in the middle, like a total blank spot on my perception - I believe this is called eigengrau, and it often happens at the onset of hypnagogic reactions to the controlled release of DMT in the brain just before sleep. I recall one episode where I was in a very well-lit hallway, and ended up just sitting down so that I didn't seize or anything - and this is where it gets weird - my head began to twist uncontrollably, not Exorcist 360, but it began to creak to the left as though some force had its hands firmly around my skull and was trying to twist my head right off. Along with the light sensation, I had... well, you know when somebody calls your name from right behind you when you're not expecting it, and you are kind of compelled by reaction to look that way to see who it is? I had that very distinct feeling, perfectly stretched out to over a minute's length. The feeling eventually slows down, the light completely goes away, and I am left with a sort of anxious afterglow sometimes accompanied by depersonalization/derealization, and other times I feel warm and mostly normal.

The last time I had it was about 2 weeks ago when I was taking a walk out on a very bright, hot day. Yeah, I always wear my sunglasses nowadays whenever I am outside. You know, to protect myself from the club lasers and all that.

And before any of you ing halfwits decide to tell me to 'go see a doctor'- I have seen several neurologists, and none of them can either reproduce the effect or even diagnose it. So it looks like I can just see God and stuff, don't be jealous.

:p

Yeah man, lol, I was gonna post this. We had to shave our legs once or twice a year depending on what meets we were preparing for. The strangest thing is when you brush up against the side of a bed or something, it feels so weird :o

Oh yeah, one time I looked directly at the afternoon sun through a telescope on a clear summer day -- I was a brilliant child -- and for several hours after that my vision in that eye (my left, I think) was tinted yellow.

Really? I always thought that was normal.. I used to get that daily when I was young but now I get it once in a while, at least I don't freak out as I used to when I was little.. it is a weird sensation though, not doing anything but knowing/feeling your heartbeat do something weird.
