Sleep paralysis. And it sucks ass.

Sleep paralysis is so awful. I really only get it if I'm napping in the middle of the day. It's so ing jarring, I wake up and literally have to calm myself down for a few minutes because it's just intense.

I will have the most vivid dreams that when I wake up my body believes that I am feeling the feelings from my dreams. This happens a lot with dreams about insects and rodents. When it happens I swear there is something in my bed and I jump out of bed like a madman and start hitting invisible creatures under my blankets.

:wtf:

I hate this feeling and wish it would go away but happens pretty regularly.

same thing happens to me all the time.

last night i had this really insane and vivid dream about one of my friends, and when i woke up i had a text from him that he sent around 4am that said "i had a dream that i was drowning and you couldn't save me"

one time after a night of drinking and lots of blow i was driving to a friend's house (this was the next night, i had already crashed and slept all day and it was dinner time at this point), and all of a sudden i started to slowly lose basic motor function in my fingers. i couldn't grip the steerling wheel tightly for some reason, and i was on the phone with her and was like, "omg, wtf something is wrong with me" and she was like, "pull over! omg what's wrong? should i call 911" lol

i mean i'm laughing about it now but i was freaked the out when it was happening. i aggressively concentrated in my mind, telling myself to move my hand and focusing really hard to make a fist and the numbness started traveling to my wrist and into my arm. i told my friend i'd call her back and i pulled into a gas station and just sat there for a couple of minutes and it eventually went away. i could slowly start moving my fingers and have feeling in them.

i never went to the doc or anything about it. i just figured it was from the blow and drinking and my body having low electrolites or something. you start having muscle spasms and twitching and numbness if you're severely dehydrated or like i said, you're having issues with your electrolites.

i had something similar happen to me, although i don't think i even partied the night before. i was driving my mom, aunt, and uncle somewhere and all of a sudden i started to get really light-headed and dizzy. we were on the freeway so in my mind i started to freak out but i basically had to force myself to get over it and be normal because i didn't want any of them to worry.

i'm pretty sure i stayed at my aunt and uncles house that night because i was too afraid to drive home by myself.

lol that sucks. yea i needed to get off the phone so i could concentrate. when i was pulling into the gas station, i was using one arm to drive because i literally couldn't move my other hand. it was like i was slowly becoming paralyzed:wtf:

thank god it stopped after a bit. i would have eventually gone to the hospital if it didn't stop within 10-15 minutes.

I once sent my gf a text message that said "Big metal duck" immediately after I woke up. She texted back "WTF?" I couldn't explain the original message, as I had no clue why I sent it in the first place.

:wtf:

how about when you are woken up by someone asking you a question while you're half asleep and you answer to them then going back to sleep but not remembering being awake and speaking to anyone at all after you actually wake up lol.

happened to me like 5 times

That is utterly awesome. If I ever write a book or a movie screenplay this will be in it. :)

Uh, yeah... Also, waking up while you're standing 2 meters away from the bed only to realize that you've answered the phone and someone's talking to you is quite a weird situation. I have answered the phone, maybe even talked but sometimes just made weird noises or just shut the phone off, a countless times and I never remember anything about that.

I just learn about my journey afterwards when that person who was calling me is trying to convince me that he needed to call me 10 times before I finally woke up completely.
