i wish i was born in the 70s so i could be able to live in the 80s... seeing as how i was born in 89, i was born in the 80s, yet never experienced one bit of it, but if i could only live in one decade, it would be the 90s;
cmon, it had bill clinton, video games, tv shows, movies, and the golden era of trance music.
are you kidding me?
its like after the y2k scare, pretty much everyone got scared, emo, and rampant on destroying everything the world; including the environment.
and the only thing thats going for this decade is technology.
...and the iphone as it seems. |

Native animals are highly protected, under law. Are you owning up for a massive fine PKC? |

But I probably would NOT have been a gung-ho feminist. |

| none. i'd prefer to choose alternate/parallel realities, works of science fiction brought to real (physical) life and preferably a time where we are not limited by genetics, a time where our consciousness can roam free... |

I wouldn't mind living in the early Cretaceous period, that and around 45BC in the Roman Empire (I'd probably visit the Egyptians around then as well)
I think they both would be pretty damn interesting.
I wouldn't mind going to ancient Greece either, just so I can pwn them all with superior mathematics. |

So that the superintelligent robots who replace us will have a chance to study a specimen of primitive humanity?

| What's with people always looking backward and idealizing the past? There is no past golden age folks... everything that sucks ass about this time is parrallelled by that sucked ass in past eras only then it sucked ass even worse. I'll take now, thank you very much. Oh, and don't give me this "hard mode" ... yeah, struggle is great in order to prove your worth; however, it's only great because eventually it ends and you get to go back to enjoying your life... in the European dark ages you got to struggle; sure, but you never got to stop struggling (until your untimely death at the ripe old age of 35-40)... what good is it to know your worth if you never get to enjoy it? |

right now!
if i went back, there wouldnt be all the music we have today.. i love psychedelic but there sure wasnt a lot of electronic in those days lol..also mdma was not really out on the street until the 70's
but if you went back, would you have the knowledge of where you were before and that you chose to go back? [you could get hella rich "inventing" things you knew from the future that hadnt yet been made]
or would you forget? maybe we've already forgotten...if we are from the future, had this opportunity and chose to go back to the time we were born in now for whatever reason but cannot recall any of it.
:tongue3 |
