No... Really not. I've just listened to it and i'm frustrated :) I've never listen to something as BAD as this album for a "trance" DJ. Let this be clear : Tiesto is taking an even more commercial path with this album with an hip-hop/pop sound, and I don't like it at all... maybe the crowd that listens to Radio or Guetta-like crowd will. I mean if I want to listen to Britney or Beyonce stuff, i'll listen to that; at what level does an artist as the "right" to trash the style ?

I really liked is set at Sensation-Quebec last year with the ISOS tour, and actually like the ISOS albums + some of the past (In my memory, Nyana); but now this sound is totally absent from this crap album.

I already got my ticket for the show, so hopefully there will be a limited tracks from the album played and some of his trance sound will make it through... or not.

Tiesto is offically the Guetta of Trance, if we can still call trance this album.

On October 2, Tiësto will be flying every possible color with his Kaleidoscope tour at the Bell Centre

After an unforgettable performance in Montreal last January 1 at the Bell Centre, Tiësto returns on Friday, October 2, for another amazing live show. Tiësto will be marking the release of his new album, Kaleidoscope, at the Montreal stopover of the tour of the same name. This is a unique and unprecedented event, with the evening open to all ages starting at 9 p.m. and continuing until 3 in the morning. With the Kaleidoscope tour, Tiësto will dazzle his audience with the grandest and most amazing live show to date, its visual impact in a league with the rhythms and songs that have made the reputation of one of the biggest artists in electronic music. The duo Kill The Noise will be the supporting act on this occasion.

An exclusive foretaste of the new album

If the success of the first single – “I Will Be Here” feat. Sneaky Sound System – is anything to go by, the album Kaleidoscope is set to be another groundbreaking achievement for Tiësto. Spectators attending the Bell Centre show will also be among the first to hear the new much anticipated collaborations with names like Jónsi of Sigur Rós, Kele Okereke of Bloc Party, Nelly Furtado, Tegan & Sara, Emily Haines of Metric and several others. Let’s be very clear: Tiësto is getting ready to make waves with this artist album, which promises to be his most impressive to date.

The incomparable Tiësto

Recognized as the number-one DJ on the planet, Holland’s Tiësto no longer needs an introduction. The man behind such global hits as his memorable version of the Delerium song “Silence” feat. Sarah Maclaughlan or “Dance4Life,” produced in collaboration with Maxi Jazz of Faithless, also has four original artist albums under his belt, including the Grammy-nominated Elements of Life. In 2004, Tiësto was invited to perform at the Olympic opening ceremonies in Athens playing in front of millions of people around the world, and also created original music for the occasion immortalized on the album Parade of the Athletes. Despite an extremely busy schedule, this workaholic finds time each week to host his own Web radio show titled Tiësto’s Clublife.

Getting tickets

Tiësto’s Kaleidoscope show is a production of Gillette Entertainment Group (GEG) in association with BPM Conference and Montreal’s White Party Week. Tickets are on sale at prices ranging from $49.50 to $110 (taxes included, service charges in addition). They can be purchased by visiting the websites geg.ca and tiesto.com or by visiting the Bell Centre box office (telephone reservations: 514.790-2525 or 1.877.668.8269).

Si l’on se fie au succès du premier extrait « I Will Be Here » feat.
