Have you ever heard of "Tiesto In Concert" ? It's an EDM event with ONLY Tiesto playing for more than 4 hours. There's a dancefloor. I don't know how they will fit this in Bell Center, but my guess is that the setup is gonna be like Daft Punk.
It's Tiesto, it's gonna be commercial for sure. But, because it's Tiesto, BeB is going to make a lot of money out of it. It's probably going to be near full capacity. I'm not saying sold out because bal en blanc never solds out...they prefer that cops and firemen come and kick out people because it's over capacity ! ;) |

I didn't read the first pages... but this looks like what he did in Toronto a year or two ago. All the people who got assigned seats instead of the floor were all pissed off. Tickets were sold below face on craigslist for the assigned seats.
Go floor or don't go at all. |

I saw Tiesto last week in Ibiza in PRIVILEGE the show he put on was unreal and I've been to a few Tiesto events, its pretty funny how much better each DJ plays in IBIZA then when they come to Canada.
They HYPE about Ibiza is real. |

i saw tiesto in ibiza this morning, to be quite honest, the first half of his set or so could be described by one word, gay. i thought it was above n beyond playing... vocals every goddam song for around 1h30. then during the second half he put the classics and the banging stuff. Carpe Noctum, just be, love comes again, elements of life and another one that i cant quite remember. the setting is absolutely out of this world thats undeniable, but still id take stereo over it any day.
and for mizza... its not true that djs play better in ibiza...well for tiesto anyways, i liked his set in quebec city 1000x better than yesterdays. still though, crazy party. the experience is definetely priceless |

umm weird...when I went the 1st half he played pretty dirty stuff...like almost electro a la daft punk stuff...apparently I don't know if that was the case for your show but for ours he played quite a few tracks from his up coming cd, maybe i was just lucky :P
And I do believe that Djs play better in Ibiza well at least to my liking, I never liked for example Roger Sanchez's stuff that he played in Montreal, but in Amnesia and Cafe Mambo he played great stuff. |

The other day when Durand dropped a few tiesto tracks, and the crowd went ape !!! I couldn't believe my eyes... i mean god damn, tiesto has alot of pull and he will fill the bell center withoout any hesitations.
Moreover, the new years eve party was insane with him at the bell center... a very memorable party. |
