I'm just saying no, I don't hate trance classics remixes
what does what others say have to do with it?

I get it, but you were asking "What is there to hate?", others in here mentioned why they don't like them. It's why I mentioned look at their reasons (was too lazy to retype mine)

that was a rhetorical question and not directed at others ;)

That's what I'm saying. UNLESS it's a person who was around that time who makes it even better and incorporates the feel of the tune.

90% if not more of the 'classic' remixes today don't follow this imo.

Not even dude
Yohan
i guess it's just sad state of affairs. when you're recycling same sound from 10 years ago, because that's what worked the best in trance, you know how much trance is hurting for a source of imagination

it's like trance producers are trying to recapture the glory days of late 90s trance, but keeps failing

then again, so many n00bs in trance scene now doesn't know their classics, so I guess it sounds 'fresh' to them

That depends man. If someone who created a classic then went back and remade a different one it would be ok IMO if it's done well.

However this is rare from what I've seen.

I have a REALLY good remix of Greece 2000 by York I think, oldschool though not a new release. I guess that doesn't fit the criteria for what we're talking about but still. :P

Invasionmix
I semi agree with Yohan, within the last couple years there was atleast 3-4 remixes of Greece and it's so annoying. They all sound so bad and butcher the original. But I've heard some good remixes of classics ie. Rank 1 - Airwave (Sean Tyas Remix(, Vincent de Moor - Fly Away (Cosmic Gate Remix
