Thats because we have not released our fall line-ups at opera. The reason the Deadmau5 show is at the masquerade is because we have a freaking massive show at opera the very next night. You are also going to be seeing us do some weekend ahows at opera in the near future as well. And we have Tiesto on a SATURDAY at NATC.

Woah, you dont use the two words freaking massive together much. Wonder what it is.

George thats a ticket broker, the shows only $20 http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/0...&minorcatid=201

But still steep for a tuesday

Gotcha, either way ticket masters crazy fees will add to that anyhow.

Laugh all you want but i did do some research before I blabbed out a number and omitted an artist from the price range. If you do not understand the politics behind it, do not pretend that you do.

Pretty sure Matt has a better idea than you do...after all he has been the one to book some of those and is pretty involved with the events at Bazzaar.

i was involved with or played at most of the shows that were talked about...konrad, 2562, etc. bazzaar has been my home for the greater part of 2009, and i'm going to miss it when it's gone. you might not think the music comes through is 'big', but it is in it's way. most of the djs who have come this year are definitely popular and make excellent music. 2562 and appleblim alone are currently doing something else not a lot of people are...yet

i know this is "tranceaddict.com" but don't write off non-trance, non-top 10, non-Dolce shades DJs as insignificant.

I will be in attendance at Ferry Corsten on a wednesday at opera. Really looking forward to it despite the debate. True wednesday is worse than thursday by far but it won't stop me from coming down. Might hang around till friday for Desyn that week as well.

I don't think he was man..i believe he was merely saying not big as in crowd attendance and overall popularity. Not necessarily saying they arent big within the genre itself. And the dolce comment...not really needed man. It's a bull underground purist statement and i heavily support underground music.

this move to wednesday has put in an end to my edm lifestyle

it was a fun 7 years.

Yup, hinting back to my statement about more mainstream artist earlier.

I know you did not say that I did, but I definitely did not pull the "this is tranceaddict" card. I love most electronic music with the exception of trancecore and hardcore. I also understand TA has evolved over the years to accept all types of electronic music.

Seriously, next time you have a bigger artist come through, post up its own thread here on TA and get some more people to come out and events can continue to come

Ok...I think it's time for a breather!

All I'm saying is that were Opera to close, Devin COULD find somewhere else for those type of events and everyone would be better off because people into that music wouldn't be forced to go there anymore. I understand he has his reasons to book there, luckily for me most Liquified stuff I'm interested in is at The Mark.
