I was just being silly I guess. I've never heard of them.
I'm not really sure what I said that merited the Sean Hannity comment, I was having a music discussion, not a politics one. Just making the point that some of you guys think you have such open tastes, but just because someone doesn't listen to Konrad Black doesn't mean they don't know good music. Honestly though, how many of you guys actually listen to a variety of music outside of EDM? |

| Some people get a lil opinionated that are uber emerged in "underground" music. I have plenty of friends that are like that. Im sure plenty of people on here listen to a WIDE variety of music. |

I think I've stated enough already that I'd almost rather be tied up and thrown in a pile of compost than go to Opera these days, as well as stated many times over that mid-week shows are ing retarded.
But here's what makes me curious... NY, LA, and MIA can book a DJ before Midnight, so why can't we? I mean, do we HAVE to wait until 12 to see someone spin on a Wednesday night? I know that takes a way from ATL tradition a bit, but I'd be much more likely to show up to one of these if I knew I would be home before 4AM. The two Pendulum shows I've been to that ended before 12 were great... do these DJ's have something in theor contract that forbids them coming on at 10? |
It isn't hard to get the djs to play earlier, the problem is getting people to show up earlier! |

Seriously, next time you have a bigger artist come through, post up its own thread here on TA and get some more people to come out and events can continue to come |
oh don't worry, i'm one step ahead of you :)

My point is, there doesn't need to be a war of words among who people who think the underground stuff is better. Just love what you love and if people don't like 2556 or whatever they were called and like Tiesto instead, that's ok too. |
my point was that not all shows are going to bring in a major clubs-worth of people. wednesday nights in atlanta are very great for the smaller clubs, and even opera as well, so really no reason to complain about a certain day of the week. weekend only towns don't prosper. |

I agree actually. I have no problem with weekday shows, actually, I prefer them. I just feel for the ones who work early every day.
I actually love concerts where the group is "big", but it's kind of underground with not many people, I just haven't found that in the EDM genre. Wish I could sometimes. |

| I'm not trying to argue but I'm surprised that putting on a show earlier brings out less people. So has this been attempted recently? It has always been my assumption, whether right or wrong, that nobody shows up until 12 because the DJ isn't going on until 12. I mean, that's how a lot of my buddies look at it.. So I then assume if the DJ is set to come on at 10, the people will be there at 10. Especially if they know it'll still only be a 2 - 3 hour set. But... I could be wrong. |

lol, I just honestly picture you looking like Sean Hannity. Aside from the politics and plurtrance (which I won't dock you on, I feel as though everyone's go ty taste to someone else).
I just really do picture you resembling Sean Hannity.
And I don't know why.
This is a problem. |

Atlanta rarely shows up before 12:30. Even when Danny Howells played 10-3, it was dead until 12:30. |
