what's everyone's style for your dream home? there was a thread about this years ago so i'll start a new one.
i'm a minimal fan...but without being too barren looking. i love lots of colorful accents in a white/neutral room. dark wood only (espresso color).
here's some examples of what i like, more or less

perfect example of what i'm talking about w/ the colorful accents. love those bright pillows.

not a fan of the chairs, but the rest is awesome. and i would put a chandelier in place of whatever that is hanging above it lol

i will definitely have an outdoor dining area like this for parties, eating breakfast outside, etc..

i mostly just like the chairs in this picture

classic miami style exterior. perfection

btw i went to florida design magazine for pictures, they have a bunch more if you want to look there and see if you can find what you like. |

i know. i'm into that lol
imo, if there was just some neutral piece of art on that wall with the same color scheme as the room, it would be boring as hell. but that's just me. |

I dunno, it's just so enormous, striking, and detailed that it seems like it would take all attention away from the rest of the room.
People's "dream houses" usually seem enormous to me. I have no idea how I would use up so much space. As far as the "look," I kind of like a plain, clinical one. Although I don't know if I'd even want an entire house to be one style. I find it doesn't usually seem appropriate to have every room with the same look... |

one of my dreams of a dream house is to have a couple of rooms or the whole house all white. A white room. |

| My dream home would be a big old Victorian furnished with a mix of contemporary pieces and antiques. I don't really go for style so much as vibe. It's important to me to have a cozy, inviting atmosphere with character. Nice lighting, etc. |

Ha, funny, I always wanted a place with one room that was entirely empty, with a big window at one end. Sometimes when I look at a new apartment, I find myself disappointed at the thought that these nice, spacious empty rooms will soon be cramped up with stuff. |

you would have loved my friend's condo in south beach. the whole place was pretty much white. white see-through curtains, white sofas, light marble floors, white walls. all he had were a few art pieces that were blue...
actually i have some pics from his house i'll post them. and plus my professional "modelling" pictures were taken in his condo because of the fact that it was all white. great for a photoshoot lol |
