They can jump about 1ft up in the air from standing and about 2ft forward too. (no, I'm not kidding, they really can) Also have a predilection for wandering and dunking in my pool, have to fish them out and volley them into the neighbours yard with the net, because they just don't die! :p
I actually like spiders, lets face it. People are far more dangerous and annoying. |

| i ING HATE spiders.... this thread is making me feel not so good. I walked into a gas station bathroom like a month ago and saw one on the floor by the toilet the size of my hand. I promptly turned around and walked out and drove to another gas station. :nervous: |

Bright red spiders and centipedes kind of freak me out. I saw a sizable bright red spider on a web strung across part of the front yard at my parents' house, and it gave me chills to see it crawling back and forth.

Yeah I'll just hang around taping a spider jumping around trying to bite, its either the funnelwebs or the trapdoors I've seen able to jump. They're both fairly similar in looks |

perhaps trapdoors, but ive never heard of a funnel web making a foot-long vertical leap. |
