I understand what slylee states if you are going to pay 85$ for some assistance on the phone at least let it be someone that speaks proper english .
Every time I call the bank for some assistance , as soon as I hear that accent I know it will be a long day for me , specially because i have an accent too ,so between he or she trying to understand me and I trying to understand them a lot of time is lost and it is f***ing frustrating . :whip: |

Time for a rant:
ing !!!!!!! So I want to apply for this PhD program at the university for next year. Since some of the courses are in English I have to prove that I speak the language sufficiently well. And they don't accept the fact that I learned it for 9 years in school or wrote my bachelor thesis (as well as the upcoming diploma thesis) in English. No, I have to do one of those stupid certified tests, which wouldn't be a problem if that didn't cost 225 €. FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU....!!!
I don't want to pay that much money just to do a stupid test for some stupid idiots to prove that I can speak English. that damned bureaucratic ! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

if the_voice were in your situation, he wouldn't have to take the toefl. How does that make you feel?
EDIT: someone shoot me if that situation were to ever materialize, as that would indicate The_Voice would be applying for a PHD. :nervous:
PS: I recently read an article of how disenfranchised german students are , and your frustration definitely affirms it :gsmile: |
