definitely not among tarantino's best but it's still a film on his unique level. it takes a lot of talent to make a 2.5 hour movie that keeps the tension high when 90% of the screen time is calm conversations of people sitting at tables.. he did it a lot better here than he did in deathproof.

Personally i think it was a stupid movie, i thought it was going to be less drole and more action. At one point i thought benny hill was going to run out with a bunch of girls.

I'd much rather play wolfenstein 3D episode 3
Furor Aquila
Easily the best movie I have seen this summer with all the credit going to Christoph Waltz's performance. After Terminator and Clunkers for Cash (Transformers), engrossing dialog was like a breath of fresh air.

Plus one.

I finally saw this last night. Took them a ing while to show it here. Even though it was missing the "rawness" of Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs and was a lot more polished and "Hollywood" I still ing loved it. I agree with whomever said Christoph Waltz deserves an Oscar for his performance as Hans Alda. WOW, really a terrific actor.

Saw this a few weeks back, and it's one of the few movies to have come out this year that I have thoroughly enjoyed. Fantastic.

Comes out Dec 14 (or 15) on DVD and looking forward to seeing it again. I thought it was pretty slow when I saw it in the theater, but I want to give it another chance. Plus the fire scene at the end is worth it alone.

Watched this recently too and really enjoyed it.
Demoted
Have yet to see it. I've been slacking off on watching films recently.

Grazi... Gorlomi... GORE-LAW-MEE

My favourite part is the entire scene that takes place in the tavern
Amazing dialogue between the SS soldier and the British fake

Diane Kruger is fabulous in the movie as the Hammersmarck chick

Shoshanna's character is exaggerated although I ing love her french in it, as well as her attitude towards the war hero dude.

Also, I want to KILL Colonel Landa when he speaks anything but Germain in that movie. His french is brutally annoying - especially in the beginning when he repeats the word "lait" at the dairy farmer's house
