He also makes some random funny references like in "Reservoir Dogs" when they are talking about Pam grier and a show she did in the 80's :) Who would have thought that years after she would played the main role In Jackie brown . The guy clearly sticks to his roots

I think your main issue was the colombian accent of Miss Villalobos:p

And the other chick I'm sure you would love her if you saw Henry and June . Thats her voice btw

i thought she sounded russian and when i saw pulp fiction again the other night, i realized she is supposed to be colombian. i thought she sounded more russian than anything. and i know a lot of colombians...they don't sound like that at all.

Jamie, I wasn't directing my comments against you. There are a lot of people who accuse Tarantino of having too much dialogue, and I just think they're missing the point. I heard several people refer to Death Proof as an extended episode of The View (a bunch of women rambling on). Maybe it's just not for them, that's cool. I thought it was amazing.

yea i know i was talking to jay too, not just you.

trust me i love tarantino for the most part and i thought death proof was a cool movie, but that one scene was horrible (the view lol). it almost killed it for me, i was ready to change the channel.

i agree, but this was his most convincing role. I studied the latin american revolutions back in school and he truly makes you feel that he is che. The charisma that he had is captured like you would not believe by del torro. I anxiously await the second part:)

I think delToro did an excellent role playing el Che , Oscar or Cannes worthy. IMO I don't think anybody will portray el Che the way he did .

The one Gael garcia did on "motorcycle diaries" was just too tender and forced .

i'm still trying to figure out which stereo patron/mtlnights guy witty is:p

has anyone seen the way of the gun? i've only seen parts of it and i keep meaning to rent it or download it. it looked great.

i understand the "kitschy retro drive in movie" vibe that quentin was looking for in death proof, it just did not do it for me at all. I guess it was too over the top for me (intended i know), but that experience was just not enjoyable for me.

as a whole i am still a fan of tarrentino.

one of my favourite scenes of all time is the beginning where he punches the chick in the face. It is an ok movie, enjoyable but not a masterpiece.
