Neoclassical music is actually very inspiring to most music genres. I really like classical myself in a chill out kind of way.

Ugh.
Those "classical for relaxation" CDs depress me more than seeing the success of cheesy trance acts like Ian van Dahl and DJ Sammy. You must really be interested in the music if you can sleep your day away to it. Debussy and Chopin as musak -- .

definitely nu disco (disco house/cosmic disco) and dubstep. the most creativity in those genres right now.
SPANIARD
Personally, I'm really liking the psybient stuff (Ultimae Records for example). Sure, it's not like darker, psychadelic ambient hasn't been done pre 2000, but the artists on that label have produced a very creative sound which compliments the more energetic dance music in the psy scene.

god, shut the up already
Have you seen Jody live recently? Tempted to check him out this Friday.
Nope, it's August's Way Out There having aired this month and should be up for download first thing next month at Hybridized.
I haven't caught Jody live since 2005 unfortunately...but I would definitely recommend going. Every show I've attended has been a good time for all involved.

neoclassical music is mostly stupid mollycoddled emo . and the rock/metal stuff you posted is probably the most retarded reactionary egomaniac jingoistic bull in this universe. PLAY ME SOME GUITAR, HERO!
some interesting music:
- dubstep/techstep/hypertechno
- wonky/figdet house (although annoying)
- current trends in dub techno and "club" techno
- idm (i hate that term but the description fits)

I'm often not sure what people mean when they talk about "neoclassical" music. Sometimes the term is used to talk about ambientish stuff with pianos and string instruments, other times it's used to talk about stuff that sounds like an orchestra playing generic videogame music, and other times it's used to talk about a genre of metal or New Ageish music. I'm guessing TotalDeath was talking about "neoclassical" metal.

One label man: Applepips.
And about DnB I don't like most of the stuff but DJ Marky is a good start. Check out his track 'LK' and his remix of Ghostface Killah- Back Like Dat.
