But I didn't say "white man is evil" or anything of the sort, I said that the situations of most blacks and most whites living in the U.S. have been quite different historically, which is simply correct. Institutionalized Racism is just another term used to keep racism in the face of people. There may have been some creditability to the term when it was created in the 60s.
The reality is Whites are always "racist", just by virtue of being white, separate and apart from their treatment of blacks, however honorable or benign that treatment may be.

Just 40 years ago minorities were getting beaten up, lynched, thrown at with stones, getting their property firebombed, etc. It really isn't that long ago. Don't think minorities should just forget about it just because things are getting better. Just 28 years ago Vincent Chin was mistaken for a Japanese by a laid-off white autoworker and beaten to death. He didn't recieve any jail time.
Basically, whites have done some real ed up not too long ago, some people still have a hard time getting over it, too bad.

i get it with black people. i mean why they hate whites now...life DOES suck for a black person in america. not nearly as many opportunities as white people.
let them have their pride and separate college fraternities and TV channels. we did some ed up to them and we STILL don't treat them equally...racism is absolutely out there in probably about 80% of america and is still passed down from generation to generation. especially out in texas and colorado and all of the midwest.
