Where did I even suggest what the term institutionalized Racism means?

I fully understand what the term means and I still think people fall back on this as just another way to keep racism in the face of people. God forbid people start looking at themselves and figure out how to change the problem instead of relying on..."Oh its racism that keeps me down".

Institutionalized Racism is just another term used to keep racism in the face of people. There may have been some creditability to the term when it was created in the 60s.

The reality is Whites are always "racist", just by virtue of being white, separate and apart from their treatment of blacks, however honorable or benign that treatment may be.

If you think it's just a term then you clearly have no idea what it means.

I fully agree with you that, IMO race should not matter and an enlightened society would be fully equal by that basis alone, but in REALITY, as I said, that is simply not the case.

I will agree there are cases of institutional racism but I think a lot of people hide behind the term because they don't want to take responsibility for their own downfalls.

Like the unique African Baobab tree, which nourishes its community with its leaves and fruit, McDonald's has branched out to the African-American community nourishing it with valuable programs and opportunities.

Racism will never end, it's in our subconscious thoughts and will sometimes slip out especially when you're with close friends and/or drunk. We had a "corporate picnic" a couple of weeks back and I overheard my service manager say a black joke to my general manager and they both chuckled like 2 little girls and to be honest it didn't surprise me that much. Thumbs up to Morgan Freeman, what he said made a lot of sense.

I don't really thing the US is endemically any worse in terms of racism than anywhere else, in fact its considerably better than some places (I was born in South Africa, back when it sucked, well actually it still sucks but apartheid isn't law) Its just the glossing over behind a veneer of civility, giggling like you mentioned and gross, condescending political correctness verging on downright insulting.
That's the impression I get from the McDonalds advert. Which is a bit of a shame as this kind of thing doesn't need to be made public policy, it can be simply a distinguished and enforced company policy of equal hiring. The UK is quite similar in a lot of respects but there is no way in hell until it freezes over the UK would vote in a black prime minister, so in a way I think its a sign the US is maturing as a nation.
In both countries I've felt very uncomfortable mixing with certain people you can literally feel they're arcing up with dangerous levels of antipathy in your presence.

LOL. Yes, McDonald's is a nourishing, sustaining force for the African American community.
