I'm not being sneaky. Every one of the times I've been up has been legit... except for one time... but that was an unplanned fluke. Sander... well I asked. Tom and Yoji, well I was asked to interview Tom, so I simply asked them. Nothing sneaky. I even had all arrangements for the last time Ferry was in town. I had media access, cell numbers of the agents representing that night, etc. Unfortunately 2 days b4 the event I post the fact I was going to record in a post on TA. Three hours later I got an email from the agent saying all privileges were pulled citing that Guv would be too busy that night. Coincidence? I don't think so. |

Well like he said he doesnt do it for business so its not Apples to oranges...hes doing it as a hobby and why people care so much to stop that simply amazes me. Also, I could care less if cameras were banned from clubs unless you have a venue issed media pass because I never record while in a club at all. I go out to have a good time but if I see someone else recording I go about my business and it doesnt bother me.
Lots of people record videos and post them up on the forums but nobody ever said to them about it :p |

what is there that you don't understand?
they dont really care if he records from the dancefloor. they only care when he tells people he is media to sneak a media pass when he is not. imagine they let everyone who had a camera on the stage? it would be a mess. |

We had this conversation b4. I HAVE NEVER TOLD ANYONE I WAS MEDIA... EVER! Dam you have a one track mind. And that day I almost got the boot (thanks to you know who) was when I made the mistake of making and wearing that radio station tag on my neck (for recognition). I didn't even think about it being misconstrued as some type of media pass look-a-like and have learned from that.

yes but when you go to an event the only people wearing tags around their neck on a lanyard are ones that work for media or work for the event. did you not think of that? the way normal people get "recognition" or market their website these days is with business cards. |
