The infrastructure is only half the problem. Main prob is that one company (which used to be the government owned sole telecom provider long ago) owns most of it and makes a packet reselling it to other ISPs.
Out of interest what sort of dl speed (Mbps) do you guys generally get in the US on a dsl2+ connection? |

| Most people in my area have comcast. I get about 6mbps download and 1mbps upload. Monthly quota is 250GB, although its more of a fair usage thing and isn't strictly enforced. |
