Who would reject a chance at a satisfying relationship so he could continue a weed habit? What a bunch of losers some people are about their drug use, LOL.

I have a friend like this.
On weekends he s himself up on coke and whiskey and then during the week he works and burns nuggets all day.

Everyone in our group of friends and beyond is trying to hook him up with this girl or that girl. We are all convinced that he will calm down with the substances and bounce back to life once he's with the right girl.

You dumbasses, girls don't automagically fix people.

I don't think anyone is saying women fix people it's just they are the most stable illict substance known to man.

if the people in question are fueling up on cannibis and cat tranquilizers to make up for a lack of love/sex/comfort/sense of belonging... then YES THEY DO

there are people that get love and sex and do the same thing sorry.

you quit because you want to. they need to hit their own rock bottom, not be cured by a magic unicorn vagina that makes everything better.

its great to be in love, but as the wise funkdoobie one said, " ain't but lips n clits".

he needs to do it for himself, or it will never work.

Metamorphosis by Charles Bukowski

a girlfriend came in
built me a bed
scrubbed and waxed the kitchen floor
scrubbed the walls
vacuumed
cleaned the toilet
the bathtub
scrubbed the bathroom floor
and cut my toenails and
my hair.
then
all on the same day
the plumber came and fixed the kitchen faucet
and the toilet
and the gas man fixed the heater
and the phone man fixed the phone.
noe I sit in all this perfection.
it is quiet.
I have broken off with all 3 of my girlfriends.
I felt better when everything was in
disorder.
it will take me some months to get back to normal:
I can't even find a roach to commune with.
I have lost my rythm.
I can't sleep
.
I can't eat.
I have been robbed of
my filth.

Bukowski was a dirty scumbag, look at how happy he is. LOOK AT IT:

(Coincidentally, he is with a woman.)

I use the term stable very specifically. Stable, when you meet them, they are like a stick of TNT. You can do whatever you want with them and nothing will happen. But in the hot house of the relationship they began to seep, ooze and sweat out their emotional nitroglycerin until if you make any sudden moves they explode on you.
