Okay so I haven't gone out in a while and didn't know what to expect... I was very disappointed on the music. Guetta didn't know how to put a solid beat together and really just tried to be a bow down to me I'm god type. Not suprised and the only reason I stayed was for armin he usually delivers a pretty good set. Again I was really let down either there were technical difficulties and or the full moon put him off track... i left at 5:50 decorations were nice, good lighting... Cool venue. Musically a waste of tiMe.

dude should have went to stereo instead.
heard sensation was horrible....
more detailed reviews anybody?

Stereo would have been so much better. Sensation was crap. Horrible musically. Line was about an hour to get inside and then another hour of low music finally at full spin with guetta and it went downhill from there on.

Before I start, I had a great night, I enjoyed the party and the music.... but this was not 'Sensation'. I have no idea how they were allowed to use the Sensation name without some type of quality behind it. I thought the Sensation brand was more prestigious than that. The DJ booth was waaay too high up, had really ty lights on it and the decorations.... tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there were any. You could even still see the "Upcoming movies", restaurants, it felt like you were in the Pepsi Forum for a movie. For those of you that saw the event that Tribe put on for Sasha & Digweed, you wouldn't have even known that you were in the pepsi forum, the decor was so well done. I was expecting something on that level, and was very mistaken.

I got there at 3am when Armin was coming on at 4am (I didn't want to see too much Guetta). There wasn't a lineup and the guy at the door said that there were 2500 people inside the place when I got there. I thought there would be a lot more.

Guetta - Not a fan of this guy, although I was very surprised with the 45min that I heard. He was playing a few really banging tracks, to set the mood for Armin.

Armin - He was playing in New York before he came to play at Sensation, he looked pretty tired. I think he put on a great show, played some really banging new tracks that I was happy to hear live. His track list was very similar to what he played at the Electronic Zoo Festival (click for liveset and tracklist) with a few additions.

Glenn Morrison - I love this guy, was really glad he was closing. I need to see this guy in a 4+ hour set. After Armin everyone just left, and fast. Glenn put on a good hour for us to finish the night.

One major problem, the bathrooms were in the top 3 nastiest I have ever seen. It was hotter than hell, water & on the floor, none of the bathrooms worked because they were all overflown and weren't cleaned all night. How much more do we have to pay for you guys to clean the bathrooms? I thought it would be included in the $85. The only thing we were paying for last night, were the DJs. I don't know what else they spent money on.

For a regular person, this event was not worth the $85. I think if BalenBlanc keeps treating their crowd like this, that they will get fed up. I've never complained about a BeB event before, but there was nothing put into this one, and I couldn't ignore it. We need Tribe to put on another event and show them how it's done.

All in all, I had a great time and I'm looking forward to Sasha & Digweed coming up!

You went to see Guetta and Armin.....and you actually expected the music to be anything more then crap....that's your own fault.
Piano4444
You're absolutely right... I just thought at the very least the music could have been danceable and ill just have a good time with my friends. It was horrible and we couldn't even dance to anything more than maybe 25% horrible mixing and transitions. Both armin and guetta blew chunks and anyone that says the music was good must have been on more e speed coke crack ghb than eveyone combined at senation. Oh and not to mention the music was so low for the first 2 hours due to the movies... They only turned it up for guetta and really didn't let danny torrence get the party started... False advertising, bad music, a f**king waste of time.

All I can say is that Forum Pepsi is an ugly place to make an event there! I mean who the suggested Forum Pepsi?
SeanMP
Tribe's even with Sasha and Diggers was at the Pepsi Forum and it was amazing.

malek
The Pepsi forum did not want the music loud, at all, before 1am. And it was the case with Tribe's event too (but few seem to remember)

I honnestly think that no promoter should organize an event there.

Hello Malek,

If The Pepsi forum did not want the music loud, at all, before 1am, then why the organisation did not told us ? Do they respect people ?

Thanks !
