This guy at work is in a band and they were playing at The House Of Blues. Frenchie said she was interested in them and wanted to possibly help get them signed. She couldn't, however,just sign them herself...even though she worked in the A&R department :wtf:
Anyway, again on Facebook she made her status something like "Permanent Ability at HOB tonight!", she even asked Jennie advice on what to wear. I never gave her a direct answer as to whether or not I was gonna go because I didn't want her to magically come up with another reason why she couldn't come, so I waited. Next morning I asked how the show was, started asking questions about the venue, the band etc. Stuff that you would know if you went. All the answers she gave were really, really vague. I asked which room they were in she said she didn't know the name, I asked who else played she said she couldn't remember, I asked about the music she said it was "a collection of stuff". OBVIOUSLY she never went, I told her I was there and didn't see her. She said she left at midnight and that was probably why. I asked if she liked my friend's band she said yes but they weren't really her thing. They didn't even get on until after midnight! She gave some bull excuse about work when I asked why she had to leave. Yep, work emergency at midnight on a Thursday...she can't sign any new artists, she cant' even accept demos...but she's the go to person when there's a problem in the middle of the night :stongue: |

OH, and when Bas confronted her about all this...which was when I think she realized the was gonna hit the fan, she told me she was moving back to Toronto.
