I was about to go to bed, and got up to brush my teeth when I saw a big ing spider on the carpet. It ran away at an alarming velocity, and when I motioned to smash its face in with a copy of the Marabou Stork Nightmares it darted away again. It could be amidst the boxes of crap under my desk, it could have gone under the carpet, it could be creeping up behind me now.
In short, it could be ing anywhere in this room. Now, I know it isn't poisonous, but I really don't want to sleep in a room containing a large, very fast black spider. And so I'm sat upright on the bed with a can of Deet, the aforementioned Stork Nightmares and the sensation of invisible spiders crawling all over me.
What the do I do, COR?
Domesticated
Get bug spray and make an invisible ring on the carpet around your bed.

Speaking of spiders, I just killed a little tiny spider walking up my wall.

I've a little black spider living in my bathroom that I've never been able to get rid of (resorting to chemicals just seems like... cheating). I've actually come to appreciate having her there (I just assume it's a she), as she's managed to get rid of a lot of other insects. Once saw her manage to take out a big black beetle at least a third larger than her. I have no idea what's become of the carcass.
I've no qualm about sending the big brown ones down the drains tho'.

I always wonder what happens to insects in the house. They die eventually, but I rarely spot their dead bodies..
