I always wonder what happens to insects in the house. They die eventually, but I rarely spot their dead bodies.. |
A lot of them seem to end up in the window sill. |

Yeah, but especially in the summer, a lot of bugs fly into our house and I can't see find them dead, not even near the window sill. And I've also never found a dead spider at home. |

This is a spider whose web covered the side door of my house. I used the macro setting on my digital camera.

:wtf:
how big was the side door? was it a sliding glass door or a regualar door? |

I have to admit 'popcorn' spiders are rather nasty lookin'.
Still, much respect. Let's see you make a durable geometrically-sound trap from instinct with your crap!:p |

Here's a life lesson for today: just because I don't like big spiders doesn't mean I haven't been in more fights than I can count. |
Ya, but how do you win when they pull a big, black spider in a jar out of their back pocket and wave it around in your -ass face? |

I'd punch them in the face while they had a hand in their pocket, obviously.
I'm not bothered by the kind of garden spider Abercrombie photo'd. I'm not even bothered by your basic house spider - I've picked them up before. It takes the especially large ones to get me on edge:

I don't like these spiders because one tried to run up my leg once, while I was at work. |

Whenever I see big spiders like this, I always say to myself that it won't come near me as a way of calming myself. And now you go and shatter my lies. |
