| in the end, michael moore's films are (which he even admits himself) op. ed's, not documentaries, which doesn't necessarily need any journalistic ethics or a fair-and-balanced viewpoint. it's an opinion. |

| As long as you take his movies for what they are (satire), I can see a Michael Moore-movie about corporate USA being quite amusing and entertaining to watch. I just hope he puts more emphasis on pisstakes and less on ideology. |

| I'd like to see Patrick Moore talk about capitalism, and Michael Moore talk about astronomy. Now that would be entertaining to watch :D |

"Roger & Me" was pretty prescient for it's day though, as was "The Big 1"
I agree that he can be a little extreme, but look at the Fox News group of inflamatory s he has to argue against? Someone needs to do something to get the other team back in the game. This is the biggest problem in 2 party politics - there's never a consensus and always bitter us vs them fight. Zero long term vision |

As opposed to our 4-party system where there's never a consensus and always a bitter 'us vs them' fight, except it's between 4 parties?
Ya, it's the 2-party system that's to blame alright  |

His movies would all be much better directed by someone who is actually smart.
Subject matter and issues are important, the mouthpiece is a ing moron.
He makes progressives look stupid the way Rush Limbaugh makes the right wing look stupid. |

Except Rush actually speaks for a good chunk of the right wing.
I would never see the head of the DNC turn on his word cause Michael Moore criticized him. :p |

While some (keyword) of his ideals may, in fact, coincide with my own, I find his method/actions to be questionable. The fact that he insists on shoving his own beliefs down the throats of others without being willing to listen to opposing beliefs, all the while sounding like an obnoxious blubbering idiot registers him completely unnecessary. |
did michael moore show up at your house and make you go see his movies at gunpoint or something? |

Because it's a tu quoque fallacy. Moore may be a complete hypocrite, but again that doesn't automatically stop his argument from being correct.
It should also be noted that I'm playing Devil's Advocate in this post, and I don't think everything Moore has argued is correct. |
Interesting. I've never heard that term before. It annoys me that it's considered an ad hominem argument, and therefore not credible.
Oh well, Michael Moore is still a clownrag. |
