| PLEASE BOOK ZOO BRAZIL for PIKNIK... what an amazing set. His set had sooo many bombs and he delivered them soo well. ( His end set sounded a bit trancy ) which was preety nice. |

good to hear ZB was good! a bit too proggy/trancy for my taste but nice to have something different at igloo. wish I could say the same about Italoboyz but I heard it was meh... anyway, I wasn't there so I can't comment...
tonight though...!! my first Igloofest of the season with the leader of the new Israel breed of techno-makers: Mr. Guy Gerber! I'm stoked for this event!! |

+1 I was thinking the same during Guy's set. Amazing music heard at Igloofest tonight folks. Top quality. this guy is in a league of his own. His live act is the best show I've heard in a long time, nobody else plays music like this...I would pay a lot of money to hear his live again in afterhours or a massive.
I had very high expectations...and was blown away by his PA. Great night overall...still this year though a lot of pushing on the dancefloor...once again the younger ones that behave like retards and the bodysurfing annoying as and dangerous...I guess it was the price to pay to be able to be close the the DJ and hear the good sound. Seriously, at one point, I couln't concentrate on listening to the music because I was constantly fighting with people trying to walk around and get closer to the stage...Igloo needs a bigger site, they've created a monster!
oh and...we need this recording from Gerber please someone!! |

Matt Tolfrey was good, until Guy Gerber came along, he was I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E
love this festival, just to show there are so many ways to embrace the freaking Canadian cold weather.
and Pascal, I totally agree with you about the retards |

Couldn't be there but I'm glad to hear Gerber's PA was rockin'!
He has truly developped a sound of his own...
Even back when he was producing prog tracks, his productions were still very mature and complex...really liked what he did with Sahar Z (with tracks like Kenny's Back)...
I also hope the sets were recorded! |

| Were Matt & Guy tagging near then end? I don't know what either look like and didn't get a good look at one or the other so I couldn't differentiate them, but I thought I noticed two people up at the decks later on in the night. |

gerrrrrrber killed it! was really loving his set. lots of very interesting tracks. but like all the others said, dancefloor was way too nuts. i didn't manage to stay until the end simply because the people i was with couldn't take it anymore. missed the last 30min. of the night, but other then that, it was great.
and yah, they definitely created a monster with igloo....it's a beast! |

| What a phenominal set! I didn't expect that at all. If only I had more space/less cold I would enjoyed a bit more but overall Guy Gerbers set 9.5/10 . Amazing fluidity, amazing tracks ! Did someone record it??? |

Always helps make things better in my experience. Learning to avoid them is the tricky part.
Thinking of coming up next w/e for Joris... can anyone tell me how cold I have to dress for? Are there heaters? Does being in the crowd warm things up much? Weather dependent of course. |
