The US federal government contributed approximately 49 million dollars to the Obama Inauguration (the other $100,000 was paid by donations and ticket sales). The 2009 US federal budget was approximately 3.1 trillion dollars.... a whopping 0.015% of the budget was spent on the inauguration... drop in the bucket. |
