I am growing bored of Bal en Blanc and may skip it for the first time in ages....but I still want something new (and totally different, non-trance-type-event...) Opinions? |
Definitely! I had an absolute blast. Thinking back that I almost bailed from this due to feeling like . Thank god for power naps and some food.
This was prolly my fav party of the year! |

Great celebrating my bday with you and Cribby. Glad you finally got to see the masters
I agree the night flew by in 10mins. Went by so fast.
Best organization ive ever seen at an event, bar none! |

Now the one and only thing I would kill for to see at a massive...
CREATOR 4 hour closing SET!!! 8-12pm!!!!
holy x1000 |
would love to see that!
I think that that kind of booking may be more probable at Black and Blue since it seems to be either trance or Victor at the BeB-related massives. |

| In regards to Sasha's state of mind, he's well known for faking being f'd up while playing/in public. A lot of people want to see it thinking that means he's more into it when spinning, plus it gets him out of having to deal with rabid fans who want to yammer on with him. I don't know how he was that night since I wasn't there, I'm just sayin' ;) |

| as some of you say his eyes may have been rolling back but i can assure he did not take anything he was actually really drunk. when i was talking to him at the end of his set he was telling me how tired he was from all the previous gigs he had before sunday night. it must have just caught up to him. thats why he ended up going back to the hotel to pass out rather then coming stereo. |

I personally think that drunk or on drugs, or tired, if it affects your performance negatively in any way, it's totally unprofessional. Even more on that level, where you are paid so much and have the night of thousands of people in your hands.
You can't sleep it off at your desk and stay home, you have a responsability.
If he his very tired, another good reason NOT to get hammered.
If you are only tired, then slack off on the multi-bookings and get some rest. |

Exactly. Same thing happened to Danny Howells @ Stereo (back to back bookings w/ no sleep bewteen), and it clearly hurt his performance. These guys (especially Sasha) have been in this situation countless times before, and know what happens when they do back to backs. I'm glad to hear that most people who went had a great time, but for those that were looking forward to hearing Sasha specifically, how did it feel to hear him for 1 hour out of what I believe was advertised as a 5 1/2 hour set between himself & Digweed?
The thing is, most people walked away from this event happy, and this is what allows him to keep doing it over and over again.
As for the decision to be under the influence of anything while spinning, I think that is a personal choice, and whatever they feel they want to do to get into it, it's up to them, as long as it works. |

DJ XL always said sasha has never respected a crowd ever.
that he is the worst human being he has ever met.
he refused to come at pepsi forum with me for that reason (we were working together at circus at that time).
personnally i don't really care, he plays good music, but he is really overrated. Many DJs offer a way better experience for a fraction the price... like creator and maher daniel lol hey only my opinion ;) |

no sleep plus drinking can = possible mass impairment. I've heard a lot of negative things about Sasha's attitude, for sure.
I read somewhere there were problems finding your name on his guestlist. Where is Sterehead's review? :whip: :p |
